48 hours after giving birth I arrived at EBs house to photograph newly born baby E. EB had booked me to photograph her birth, but due to unplanned medical intervention, I was unable to document her entire birth experience. I was with her through a large part of her labour and documented her time at the birth centre and her transfer to labour ward. I could not follow her into theatre, so her partner instructed that I leave and go home for the time being. Once EB arrived back home from hospital, I was able to capture for her a few of those precious newborn moments that we were unable to get earlier.
There are lots of big decisions to make when you are planning everything for your baby and one of the best decisions I made was inviting Elle as our birth photographer. I’m speechless. She captured so many beautiful photos and also supported me all the way through the birth. I can never thank her enough for everything. I would highly recommend her as a birth photographer.
