Mother’s Day Photoshoot at Whirlowbrook Park

A photo session makes a perfect gift for Mother’s Day. I love how several people who booked onto these Mother’s Day minis booked them as gifts to the mother’s in their lives. Some even bought gift vouchers to give on Mother’s Day to be used on a future date.

It was lovely to see some returning families on these sessions and some new faces too!

Last year’s Mother’s Day minis was a gorgeous snowy landscape while this year we captured a bit more early Spring florals.

As with all of my photography sessions, they are CHILD-LED. This means we do what the kids want. What interests them? What keeps them happy and smiling?

Some children are open and ready to go right away to explore, have fun, and play games while others take a bit longer and that’s okay. We always manage to capture some gorgeous shots!

Here’s what Rebecca had to say about our Mother’s Day photoshoot:

I’m so happy with my photos, they’re beautiful and my favourite is my current centrepiece in my living room! Elle was so lovely, really knew how to keep my little girl happy and smiling/interested and she was really patient when my little girl was nervous/unsure to start. She wouldn’t come out of her pram but before long she was running around having lots of fun and full of smiles, thank you Elle!

We just wanted to say a huge thanks for these pictures. We absolutely love them and found it difficult to pick our favourites as there were so many good ones. Thank you for making us feel so relaxed. We will be back in a few years when O is older! Thanks again!

Amazing photos, Elle is friendly and puts you at ease. Thank you!

I run mini sessions multiple times throughout the year and they are the most accessible ways of working with me. They make a great introduction to a full family photoshoot or a quick update to capture your family. Want to find out when the next mini sessions are?
