Your kids online footprint has never been more important

I respect everyone’s parenting decisions and know that they choose what they think is best for their kids.

I respect that some people choose to share images of their kids online and some do not.

It’s my personal belief and choice that images of kids should not be shared online without their informed consent.

As a photographer, I naturally rely on other people seeing my work to book me, but I value kid safety and consent above “best” business practises.

I have chosen to not share identifiable images of children online as of 2025. You will still see some faces on my website from previous years where parental permission was granted, but you will not see any newer work. New work will either obscure or crop children’s faces.

To view example galleries (including images that feature faces), you must enquire with me to receive a password locked gallery that expires after your viewing.

Did you know that deepfakes (AI generated imagery and video created in the likeness of a person) are being used to create sexually explicit content of children? The technology is incredibly accessible, with many apps offering the service for free. Some popular apps, like TikTok and SnapChat, have it integrated into their technology already.

About 40% of students have reported knowing about deepfakes being circulated within their school. It is quickly becoming an incredibly harmful cyber bullying tactic, which is largely affecting young girls.

I highly recommend checking out Laura Bates work for more on this topic.
