Meet Our Santa
This year we will have a visit from the one and only Father Christmas!
He will be waiting for you in his chair next to the Christmas tree when you arrive. He’ll say hello, chat to your child(ren) and engage them in different activities depending on mood and age. Activities might be helping to decorate the tree, riding on a vintage-looking toy car, or wrapping grown-ups in tinsel. We will attempt to capture at least one group shot (with or without Father Christmas) before your child(ren) receive the present.
It can be normal for children to be nervous, shy, or even scared around Santa. Our sessions are entirely child-led and there is no obligation from your child to do anything. Santa can just say hello from afar and we can ask him to leave at any point.
My recommendation would be for you to show children a photo of our Santa and talk about him at length before the photoshoot. The more you talk about him with your children and prep them for seeing him and tell them about what he does (says hello, chats, plays, and gives you a present) the more likely they are to warm up faster to him (if at all).
Meet the Elves
Santa always brings a couple of helpers with him!
One elf will be welcoming you into the space, direct you on where to go, and help facilitate activities with Santa during the photoshoot.
The second elf is there to help facilitate our Christmas craft room after the photoshoot and help you get your hot drinks and baked goods.

Want to peek inside a gallery?
I stopped sharing kids faces online at the beginning of 2025, so I understand how difficult it might feel to visualise the essence of what’s captured during photoshoots.
I’ve been given permission to share a full gallery from a mini session from last Christmas for a limited time. The gallery will expire on November 28th.
Please use the password Christmas2025 to view it.
What if I want more pictures?
Prices for additional, edited digital files are listed below. Image files can be downloaded, shared, and printed for personal uses only.
- One digital file £15
- Full set of 15+ digital files £75
What do we wear?
Anything goes! Wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident. For a full guide on what to wear, check out this blog post.
What can I expect on the day of the shoot?
I shoot in a very relaxed, informal way. Joy is at the heart of my work, so you can expect me to tell jokes, be silly, and do whatever it takes to get a natural laugh out of you and your littles.
Expect to have a bit of fun and hopefully smile and laugh a lot.
What happens after?
I’ve got a pretty quick turn around on my mini shoots, which is usually about a week.
I go through all of the images we took together and delete any duplicates, mid-blink expressions, or technically incorrect/out of focus images. I edit each photo remaining individually and then upload to your online viewing gallery. There is usually about 15 images uploaded. From there, you can select your 2 photos to download, included within the session price, or purchase more. There is also a variety of printed products to choose from within your gallery, including prints, canvases, and wall art.
How can I use the images?
Terms & Conditions of Image Usage & Copyright:
The 1988 Copyright Act assigns the copyright of the images to Elle Narbrook.
Photos from the mini session are provided for the personal use of the client only. The client may not sell or publish the images or give them to third parties for sale or publication without express permission of Elle Narbrook.
Until purchased, images cannot be shared online or printed. You can share the online viewing gallery with friends & family however, screenshots are strictly forbidden. Elle Narbrook Photography owns the copyright of all images taken. Digital files purchased come with the license to print, however cannot be used for commercial gain. Elle Narbrook Photography retains the right in all cases to use the photographs in any manner at any time and in any part of the world for the purposes of advertising or otherwise promoting her work.
What if I have allergies?
Food Allergies: A detailed questionnaire will be sent to you after booking where you can note any food allergies. Any cakes or food items offered on the day will be clearly labelled with ingredients available. All allergies will be catered for.
Dog Allergies: two dogs (huskies) live at the home and so there may be some dog hair around, though I will be doing my best deep clean before the sessions. The dogs will NOT be present during the mini sessions, but the sessions may not be suitable for someone with severe dog allergies.
Is there parking?
There is free, on-street parking available. Please do not block any driveways.
Due to the intimacy of the space, you will not be allowed entry until your time slot (so we can reset the room before your session). I still recommend you arrive about 5 minutes early to ensure you find the place okay, park, and are able to be at the front door exactly at your time slot. I may not be able to accommodate lateness and there are no refunds for being late or missing your time slot. An elf will welcome you into the home at your appointed time.
What if the weather is bad?
We’re shooting inside, so whatever the weather–we’re going ahead! (Unless we have a huge snow storm or flash floods in which case we will first attempt a reschedule and if a reschedule isn’t possible, then a choice of a full refund or vouchers will be offered.)
Cancellations
If the client cancels the shoot, the session fee is forfeited and cannot be applied to another date unless a replacement booking is found and booked for the original time slot.
In the unlikely event the Photographer is not able to provide services on the scheduled date and time due to cause beyond their control, the mini session date will be rescheduled or your session fee refunded if you are unable to make the rescheduled date.
